Had never done kayaking but definitely got the confidence with David he is knowledgeable and for a beginner or advanced it's totally worth booking. As it's a private tour we enjoyed the three hour china man hut in Oahu and hiking up the mountain. I don't think any other kayaking service offers the hike to the mountain top. Thank you and your wife you guys are awesome.
We had an enjoyable three hours kayaking in Kahana Bay and traveling up the nearby river. The weather was windy and a little rainy, but it was warm enough for me to be in a swimming suit anyway. My wife became a little sick from the ocean swells, and we wished we had some anit-nausea meds. David "Boogie D" was a great guide who shared his knowledge and love of the area and traveled at whatever pace we wanted. The tour was private-just the three of us. We picked among the listed locations and we set the time, which was nice. We saw only one other small group of kayakers, and we saw two sea turtles. Overall an enjoyable experience.
