If you are into botanical gardens, it is probably good. I very much regret going there.
They make ridiculous hustle and bustle about swimming by the fall. It is nothing in an area that beautiful ocean is right beside. It is just for commercializing it.
The gardens and flowers are absolutely gorgeous. There are various types of plants , flowers and trees. There are some really exotic ones if you kinda search them out.
Such beautiful grounds and definitely glad we paid the entrance fee eventhough it was steep.
It is quite commercialized. Well advertised. But the problem is that botanical gardens are like zoos. They are not natural. Most people go for the falls and swimming beside it. The falls is beautiful but small.
Really the only reason to go is the waterfall which you can swim in. 16$ to get in. The plans are all pretty wild looking and just blend into nature. Nothing spectacular or overly maintained. Easy walk.
Beautiful experience and understanding of the Hawaiian culture and heritage. A great walk which ended with a beautiful waterfall that one can swim in it. A must do, if you are planning a trip to North Shore Oahu
