Sharks Cove is a protected cove that can be walked in while safe from the waves.
Good Grief County of Oahu! Why shut down restrooms for what, 6-7 months renovations only to leave it sit while inconveinincing beach goers? Why not wait to close when you have materials and work crew to do it and be done with it? Can't believe how ignorant and slow city, county, and state are with doing their jobs!! So, they provided beach goers with porta potties, for shame County if Oahu! At least maintain these! So disgusting! I would give the beach 5 stars, but the County constantly disappoints! Should change the name to PupuKaka!
Amazing beach on the north shore! We were there and watched an incredible sunset!
Be Careful with currents pulling you out or waves pushing you on the rocks. The fish let you get very close. Simple, pretty variety fish.
Best diving on the North Shore. Easy water entrance at Shark's Cove and Three Tables. In both areas, the greatest fish populations are on the Eastern side of the Cove. Water depth ranges from Beach to 30 feet with a gradual gradient. Unsuitable for swimming in winter months due to very high surf.
