One of my favorite spots ever. In the summer, it’s a great spot for rock jumping and for just hanging out. The beach is huge, so it accommodates a lot of people. In the winter, the waves get HUGE, depending on whether there is a swell, of course. But this place is an amazing spot all around. Great beach for all ages.
Fun beach with big waves and a lot of sand. Gets very busy so best to go early in the morning. It was better when we went two years ago as this time people were fishing all along the beach and taking up a huge chunk of the sand and swimming areas. Parking is limited so if you arrive after 10, you will most likely have to park by the street and have an extra long walk. Be careful where the waves break on the shore as a lot of people get knocked over and have trouble getting up.
Went during mid-December so no swimming was allowed. It was fun watching all of the surfers though. Didn’t drive, but I can see the parking can be a bit crazy at some hours of the day. Cars everywhere.
Plenty of parking but it can be hard to find parking if you go prime time. I remember jumping off the rocks during summer here, but when I came in November, the waves were pretty big. It's a great beach with showers and restrooms. The sand is nice but isn't the softest. Love this beach!
A lot of sand and surf here for relaxing and body-surfing, there are even some cliffs you can jump off of if you are daring enough! Good washrooms and outdoor showers too. Sometimes you have to arrive early in order to find parking though...
