Extremely slow and incompetent workers. Ordered fish tacos. Wasn't told until after I ordered that it would be a 20 minute wait (there was no line but about 5 groups of people waiting at tables). It ended up being a 30 minute wait. And for the $16 I paid, I've had far better fish tacos (no sides or drink, just three fish tacos).
As I was waiting I was constantly being harassed by flies. But, I got to watch the truck workers in action. From someone who has worked in the food industry, they are simply not experienced and don't think ahead. They can't prepare more than one order at a time. They had 3 people working in there but still can't manage to cook burgers and tacos in a timely manner. If the employees read this - One person works the grill, one person takes orders, one person prepares the orders. Grill multiple things at once and have the buns and tacos prepared waiting for the finished meat. Its seriously not rocket science.
Very poor service!!!! Ordered a well done burger and got a medium well burger. I specifically said well done no pink. When I took a bite all pink. The cook argued with me and so did the other young kid worker saying I would like it better, it's medium well and did not want to make me a new one. I told them to make it like I asked and wanted. After too much of a debate, she finally sd she would make me a new one. Still not done right. Poor service and burger not good. Overrated
My wife, my 1 year old son, and I visited this vendor since we heard good things about food trucks on the island. We tried to order the fish and chips, but the person taking our order looked confused. She asked somebody else working there and we were then informed that they didn't have any breaded fish. Instead we ordered 3 fish tacos (not cheap either by the way). We stood for the next 45 minutes waiting for our food to arrive. When my wife went and checked, she was told they were 'up next'. We finally get the tacos, are tired from standing in the heat trying to keep a 1 year old entertained. The fish is extremely overcooked and as we went to eat them we got swarmed by flies. We dropped the tacos at that point and left completely and utterly frustrated. We drove down the street to Cholos and had an excellent sit down lunch. The service was much quicker and the food far superior. Honestly, in the entire week we were on the island, this was by far our worst dining experience. Unfortunately it caused us to avoid food trucks for the rest of the trip.
It was good the tacos. Something different. Very clean place
I was in the mood for a corn dog and this place looked good. So I ordered a way overpriced corn dog hoping for it to be the best I've ever had. After waiting for 30 min to receive it, the "organic" hot dog was overdone, and in my opinion didn't taste the best. Also, they drizzled the coating on, thus creating food that doesn't even resemble a corn dog. Overall, the $8 corn dog was in no means worth it!!
