I haven't tried all the Mexican joints on the island yet but I gotta say that this place was pretty good. I particularly loved their fish burrito. It was flavored and seasoned well and was complemented with either refried beans or black beans. The price was good for the huge servings. Not food related but I loved the maps that they had hanging on the wall. The best one was the topographical map of the Hawaiian Islands. Will come back again when I'm in the area. I think they should get more variety of hot sauces tho and upgrade the sound system.
We visited on a Monday early evening. The employees were very helpful and courteous.
They have a unisex bathroom which was clean. I extremely dislike using a unisex bathroom but I give them credit for having it in good condition.
Awesome tacos. Try the chicken!!!! Great prices and open at convenient times. Very clean and comfortable environment. Friendly staff and very hygienic.
The prices are very reasonable. I would visit again but I would not order the nachos.
The most amazing tacos and burritos I've had. We were just recently there visiting family and they took us here for lunch after snorkeling. We were not disappointed. I had the pork tacos and they were delish!!!
Several others in my family had various versions of their burrito which they really liked. My youngest son had a quesadilla which he said was slightly better than Taco Bell.
Wife and kids had the lunch special (beef tacos/drink) for $6. I splurged on the fish burrito and it was excellent. Good food at good prices = 5☆
I had the super nachos with shredded pork which I didn't particularly care for. It had way too much cheese (the cheese is shredded which they microwave when they prepare it). I think ground beef would have been a better meat selection instead of the pork. I really like the nachos at Taco Del Mar.
