Food took forever to get to us and when it finally did there was a hair cooked into the shrimp. I mean if that’s what y’all like to eat come and get some.
Fantastic food, awesome staff. Very friendly, very courteous, and the shrimp is the best we had during our stay in the North Shore. The spicy shrimp is spicy but the garlic shrimp with the little crispy bits is the big winner. Strongly recommended!
Ended up with the butter lemon shrimps (since theyd run out of the garlic - it was late in the day). $15 gets you a good serving size and the hard working chef had it ready within 15 minutes (nice guy). I'm not normally a seafood person but it was really tasty. The salad was kind of thrown together and the rice microwaved but overall great atmosphere and worth visiting. ps try the cheesecake on a stick!
If you're not having poke at Foodland, then you must be at the North Shore Shrimp Truck! A great place to eat & for dessert go to the shave ice truck or maybe a fresh cut pineapple! If he's still there say hello to Papa Nui the Pearl guy & buy a couple of Maui's Fish Hooks carved from bone, you'll be the belle of the ball back home.
Tried the garlic shrimp and the habanero shrimp, and they were both excellent. The habenero packs a hell of a kick, the shrimp and sides were fresh and good quality and the staff were friendly.
