I was stationed in Hawaii in 05-08 and this place was my favorite! The spicy garlic shrimp is amazing! Finally got back this way and it is still soooooo good! I remember trying a couple of the competitors nearby and they were no where near as good. The food is fresh and the service was delightful.
The shrimp and kalbi was delicious. I had the spicy shrimp/kalbi combo and enjoyed it immensely. My wife and kids had the butter shrimp and polished it off in no time. The side dishes (rice and shredded cabbage with vinaigrette) were fresh and perfect. The service was a little slow with only one person cooking and one person taking orders and serving, however, we thought it was worth it in the end.
Food was spectacular. Well seasoned. Ordered #8 combo. Got my food in about 10 minutes. Service was good too
If you like spict then you will enjoy their spicy shrimp. I did not because my shrimp and rice were covered with their spicy sauce. It really destroyed the shrimp flavor. The girl who took my order convinced me that I would like the spicy shrimp. I was just going for the garlic butter shrimp as my first choice. Shouldn't have listened to her. Anwyay, my meal was ruined.
Delicious food. The pineapple shrimp was very good and my friend said the garlic shrimp was very good as well.
