The highest compliment I can pay Edison and Surf Hawaii is this: any google search will tell you that Edison is beyond an expert surfer in his own right; but what is rare and wonderful about him is the genuine joy he shows on any average day out in the waves. Rain or shine, Edison is smiling, encouraging his students and keeping the aloha spirit alive in Hale'iwa!
He started us at the right beach for our level and provided everything we needed (even a rash guard to anyone who needed to borrow); he encouraged me and I quickly gained confidence on the waves.
