Crew were very friendly and encouraging.

Today we were able to swim with a little over 30 Sandbar sharks, but you may see Galapagos or even tiger sharks on their tours.

The staff are wonderful about keeping you informed of possible reschedules due to weather well in advance, and really go out of their way to make sure everyone who is booked can get the experience in before they leave island if they're just visiting. If you're booking a vacation from off-island or well in advance, you can feel secure knowing that no matter the weather conditions when your dive was originally scheduled, they will do whatever they can to get you out there. They have fins and snorkel gear for you, and the website says they don't provide wetsuits but they do have long-sleeved rash guards you can borrow at no cost.

More than just a tour, it's an education experience that will change your perspective about sharks!

Unlike other shark tours- these guys are scientists, that are researching sharks, and use these tours to help educate the public, bring awareness to the important role of sharks in our ecosystem, and raise funds for their continued research.

My wife and I loved this adventure. Beautiful boat ride out to where the sharks hung out. Gorgeous sunrise. Swam with the sharks and other marine life. Very cool experience. Ocean and the captain were courteous and seemed to care about our safety and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. I feel the $150.00 per person was fair. We hope to go again.

I brought my own GoPro the first time but paid for the footage they take the second time, totally worth it. Know in advance that if you bring your own camera, you won't be able to pass it around or take a bunch of selfies with the sharks because you need to be watching them and staying alert. The paid footage will not only have you in it, but I can almost guarantee that they will be getting the closest to the sharks and have some really awesome footage because of it.

As for the sharks, they're absolutely majestic. When I first got in the water I was both terrified and mesmerized. But the longer I watched them, the less scared I became. I looked for the behaviors our marine biologist, GE, told us about, and looked to him in the water with us whenever I wasn't sure about something. Words can't explain how it feels.

I felt completely safe throughout the tour as these scientist are keenly aware of shark behaviors. At one point you will notice one of the sharks coming in at me and the diver quickly putting herself between me and the shark. On another occasion I had to put my fins up to stop an approaching shark.

I loved it so much I'm already planning a third trip. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Totally enjoyed my time even though I can't swim.

I was amazing to actually stare into their eyes and make that kind of contact with these very intelligent creatures. I would highly recommend this tour!

I just hung on to the ropes by the boat.

This was the most amazing experience. I thought I would be terrified to swim with sharks without a cage but I felt completely safe the whole time with the safety diver in the water with us. The crew was very nice and knowledgeable about not only sharks but the other marine life we encountered, a pod of dolphins, and a whale off in the distance. The sharks came right up to the surface, they seemed just as curious about us as we did about them. I would 100% recommend doing this. The crew was well trained and very concerend with keeping our group of six safe.

Highly recommended.

As an avid ocean swimmer I thought it was time to get a better understanding/appreciation for sharks. So today I joined up with One Ocean Diving to learn more about these amazing creatures as well as to dispell many of the misconceptions surrounding them.

This was actually my second trip with One Ocean. My boyfriend went about a year ago and loved it so much he went back again and brought me. Well, I loved it so much that I came back with my sister a month later! The crew are not just tour guides- they really study sharks and shark behavior, and their knowledge and experience are what makes me feel so safe going cage-free.
