If you're visiting the North Shore, this is a nice place to go with a local feel. Good restaurants and eclectic shops add authenticity that make it seem less touristy. We loved shopping and eating there, but be aware the shops close early in the winter.
Fun place to people watch. Also they have a grassy area with a garden that has edible plants and flowers which was pretty cool to see.
No chains, only local offerings in a quiet, forest-like shopping center. The only name you'll recognize is an awesome Patagonia store. Definitely hit the coffee shop and grab a shaved ice across the parking lot from there.
This is a cute little shopping area, seems to be mostly tagged towards tourists, as there are many souvenir shops. We didn't eat here but there are a few little restaurants too. The only complaint is that there was an AWFUL sewage smell. Public restrooms available here and are fairly clean. Nice little stop if you're touring the north shore.
This is a neat little gem located on the North Shore. We had an excellent time shopping and walking around. If you love to people watch while resting, this is the spot. There are many wonderful shops to look around inside. Love all the beautiful colors on the buildings too.
