The syrups were amazing. My shave ice was a party in my mouth! The ice cream was truly a bucket-list maker!! Thank you for your maintaining original pieces of the past mixed with more modern beach town, while keeping low-key quaintness. Truly a must experience when visiting Oahu!
The goodness of this shaved ice cannot be overstated. It's my favorite on the island. They recently renovated so it's not the small original nitch. It takes away from some of the original ambiance but it is much more efficient and the flavors are still just as good as before.
Great place to get a delicious shaved ice bowl! Service is fast and rarely a line. Prices are moderately expensive due to tourists. Highly recommend!
It's a tourist trap now but you know what, get trapped so you can say you did it. Get the beans with your shave ice. One piece of advice when ordering shave ice. Don't get carried away with too many flavors. IMO anything more than two flavors will dilute the taste of the other flavors. Opinions vary but I've found this to be true.
This was a nice place with lots of options to create the perfect shaved ice for yourself. The lines get long, but it doesn't take long to get through. Prices are reasonable for the shaved ice and souvenirs. They have every flavor you can think of and several add-on items like mochi. The staff was pleasant and helpful. They have a nice seating area in a courtyard outside the shop with several other shops close by to check out.
